Key Responsibilities
- Create high-impact reel edits for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
- Edit podcast videos (multi-camera edits, clean cuts, pacing, subtitles, thumbnails)
- Work on long-form video edits for YouTube, brand campaigns, and websites
- Design and integrate motion graphics, text animations, transitions, and visual effects
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to translate briefs into compelling visual stories
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content
- Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, formats, duration, trends)
- Stay updated with current editing trends, formats, and platform algorithms
Desired Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline
Experience
4+ years of professional experience in video editing
Expected competencies
Strong command over tools such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
- Reel/short-form video editing
- Podcast editing
- Motion graphics & animations
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visual aesthetics
- Ability to think creatively and bring fresh ideas to the table
- Experience working with social-media-first content
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
