About the Course
The Certificate in Safety and Security for Early Childhood is a 15-hour, self-paced online
course that prepares educators, caregivers, and parents to create safe, secure, and responsive
learning environments for children aged 3-8. Rooted in a whole school approach and aligned
with NEP 2020 guidelines, this course offers a structured understanding of infrastructure
safety, transport protocols, field trip planning, emergency preparedness, and basic first aid in
early childhood settings.
Gain awareness of different types of abuse, learners will also explore legal frameworks such
as POCSO(relating to sexual abuse), and understand how to identify, prevent, and
respond to crises. With practical tools, real-life case scenarios, and legal compliance
